Really loved this piece! Some of the points you made really impacted me, particularly the one about the West using foreign aid strategically. It just brought a bunch of foreign aid and humanitarian programs to mind that never seemed to be altruistically motivated. The reparations discussion is important and we need to pressure historically imperialist nations to start conducting reconciliation processes.
