This doesn't make a lot of sense to me. How can we reach an audience beyond our group of followers? How are we supposed to be recognized for writing really high quality pieces, even if we don't have a large following yet? I have no idea from this post whether curation is actually occurring any more based on the UI, even though this post says things are still being curated. This just feels like a decision that was made without getting feedback from writers.
